Russia's GDP in 2019
Russian GDP growth will slow down to 1.3% in 2019 and slightly accelerate to 1.6% in 2020, and up to 1.9% in 2021. A negative contribution to the development of the economy will be made by lower oil prices, a slowdown in export growth and a higher VAT rate. This is the forecast of economists at the Center for Development of the Higher School of Economics (it is at the disposal of RBC).
According to the baseline forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development, the economy will grow by 2% in 2020, and from 2021 the GDP growth rates will reach 3%.
